Education Insider - September 27

Course Processing Update
There has been a delay in the release of our new education platform.  We intend to offer system training prior to its deployment and we will notify you of those trainings as soon as we have dates. The trainings will address the system functionality and features. We will also record the trainings for those who cannot attend. As a reminder, classes cannot be added to the system at this time. You can, however, still schedule and promote classes.

Dollars and Sense of Sustainability
Please encourage your members to attend the three remaining webinars scheduled September 30-October 2 regarding the dollars and sense of Sustainability. We’ve also scheduled three CE classes that you can offer for free to your members October 7-9, 1pm - 3pm Central Time via Zoom. Here's a link  that provides more information on the content of the Sustainability CE classes. If you would like to host these classes, email education@texasrealtors.com, and we will add the classes to our website and promote your association statewide as a host of these courses. All classes are to be offered for free thanks to the Sustainability grant we received from NAR.

WAVes of Changes Webinars
Texas REALTORS® has secured participation in a webinar series by the WAV Group that focuses on current industry trends and activities for both the local MLS and association. Click here to register for the October 1 webinar.

Pending Invoices
We thank you for your patience as we've migrated this transition to the association management system. We've started sending education invoices for classes we've received since August 20 and should be caught up by close of business today (September 13). We fully understand that it isn't a perfect system. Please reach out to education@texasrealtors.com if you have any questions related to the invoice(s) you received.

Roster Emails
When emailing the CE Excel file for course credit, please include the word “Roster” in the email subject line. This will help identify rosters for processing and expedite the process.

Out With The Old
As Texas REALTORS® is transitioning to a new association management system, classes cannot be added through CART to determine the number of registered locations, access materials, or evaluation links. However, manual and evaluation links are available for classes entered prior to the CART shutdown. Associations can, however, still plan to participate in courses and promote them to their members. Once the new system is deployed, classes can be added to help identify participating class locations.

In With The New
We anticipate the release of our new education course processing module on September 28. We hope to offer system training prior to its deployment or soon thereafter. Trainings will be recorded and made available to gain understanding of system functionality and available options.  If you have any questions, please contact education@texasrealtors.com.
