TACS Course Redesign RFP
Texas REALTORS® is seeking proposals for the strategic combination, consolidation, and enhancement of our existing TACS 1, 2, and 3 courses. This initiative aims to modernize and streamline the Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist (TACS) program to better serve today’s commercial real estate professionals.

Here you’ll find the official Request for Proposal (RFP) document, which includes comprehensive details on the project scope, submission guidelines, and evaluation criteria. We invite qualified individuals to review the RFP and consider contributing to this important initiative. If you, or someone in your network, may be a good fit for this opportunity we encourage you to share the RFP.

Proposal Submission Deadline: July 15

Best of the Best
Looking for new, innovative real estate classes to offer your members? Texas REALTORS® is offering a “Best of Conference” education series with classes from the 2024 Conference, taught by the original instructors. Scheduled for August 14-15, Associations can purchase this package of six classes for $175 and attendees can earn 10 hours of CE credit. Also, this program offers five shareable Zoom connections. To purchase the Best of Conference subscription package, click here. If you have any questions or would like more information contact Gregory Lang.

TREC Notes
TREC is preparing to install a new management system in August and estimate a window of 7-10 business days when all systems, including the phone, Online Licensing Services portal, and the Posting System, will be down or have limited access because of planned system upgrade. There are no exact dates available currently as to when the shutdown will occur. Please be timely in submitting courses for CE posting as this outage will impact our ability to submit class attendees. Also, encourage members with licenses that expire at the end of August to complete their education and renew their license early to avoid possible delays.

Pre-register Students in EdConnect
As a reminder, pre-registrant counts are required for upcoming broadcast classes. As attendees register for classes, you can add them into EdConnect using the "Number of Registrations” field on the Class Settings page of the class. This information gives the instructor an estimate of student attendance.

A Note of Interest
TREC is now administering the instructor training for Legal I&II and Broker Responsibility. They hope to have the registration site open by early August, with training starting in late September through early December for Legal Update I&II II. There is a possibility of a Broker Responsibility training course in the fall, as well. Once available, the instructor training dates will be listed on the TREC website.
